Dimeric acid is a reddish brown transparent viscous liquid, a compound formed by intermolecular polymerization of octadecane unsaturated fatty acids. The dicarboxylic acid prepared from distilled cotton oleic acid and soybean oleic acid using polymerization acidification process and separation technology has the characteristics of stable performance, non-toxic, non volatile, high flash and ignition points, good fluidity, non freezing at low temperatures, and solubility in most organic solvents.
